The cores under our coordination cover a wide field in life science, from hard-core genomics (DNA sequencing or transcriptome studies) to physiological investigations or animal experiments. Most of the cores provide standardised services for which timelines, deliverables and cost are well defined. More customised services can be discussed with the person in charge of the platform, and can sometimes be performed in collaborative mode. Since the platforms are subsidized by French agencies, pricing depends on the category of user (academic or industrial, French or otherwise). In all cases intellectual property issues are defined before initiation of the work.
